Cookie Jars

Yes I know you were all wondering when I was going to get a blog. I had a hard time getting started, but it's actually turned out to be quite the fun adventure. I have decided to dedicate my blog to the one thing that spices up our lives...cookies to be exact. Cookies come in all shapes and sizes and can definitely take on a personality of their own. I tend to also believe that I can spice up someone's life; therefore, I am like snickerdoodle cookie today. Warm, full of goodness, and topped with a little bit of sugar and spice! And I will tell you that they should not EVER be mistaken for sugar cookies...but that is for another day.

When I think of Cookie Jars, I always think of my friend's house back in the good ol days of elementary school. Every time I walked into their house, I would see cookie jars galore. They ranged from Betty Boop to ones in the actual shape of a cookie. Although they were cute, there was always one problem...there were never any cookies in the cookie jars. If the point of cookie jars is to have cookies in them, then by darn, there should be cookies! So I pledge that if I ever have a cookie jar, there will ALWAYS be cookies in them for that is their intended purpose (I encourage you to do the same) As these are my thoughts for the night I will include a lovely picture of the cookie jar that always stood out in my mind when I entered the "cookie jar" house.
